Untitled (Red Cross)

I collected Crataegus (Hawthorn) berries. I then found a piece of sharp slate and came across an area of short grass. I cut a cross out of the grass as best I could using the slate (the ground was moist) I then filled the cross shaped void with the red berries. I later decorated the edge of the cross with some yellow leaves that were lying near by. I was interested in using the Crataegus berries because of the tree's connection to the crown of thorns worn by Jesus. 2013
